FAQs for eVisa/ETA Fees

Payment methods for eVisas/ETAs (Electronic Travel Authorizations) can use specific online platforms or wire transfer. However, here are some common payment methods that are often accepted for eVisa/ETA payments:

  • Credit or Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit or debit cards are usually accepted for eVisa payments.
  • Online Payment Platforms: Some eVisa websites may accept payments through online payment platforms like PayPal services.
  • Bank Transfers: In some cases, you might be able to pay for your eVisa by initiating a bank transfer (Bank of Cyprus). However, this option may not be as common or convenient as credit/debit card payments.

The visa fee typically covers 2 types of fees: The government fee & The service fee.

  • The government fee includes the administrative expenses and services provided by the embassy or consulate.
  • The service fee will be paid for visa/ETA processing and documents supported by Global Visa Corp. This fee covers the consultation and processing time (quick or slow) of Visa/ETA.

Generally, visa government fees are non-refundable, even if your application is denied. The fee covers processing costs and is not dependent on the outcome of the application. However, the service fee will be refunded in case you send a refund request within 4 hours counting from the moment you submit the visa application.

In case you cancel your visa application, the reimbursement sum will be calculated according to the cancellation policy outlined earlier, and the corresponding refund will be returned to the person who made the payment. Please be aware that the reimbursement procedure might require 2 to 4 weeks due to banking protocols. Should the refund be directed to either a credit card account or a bank account, any applicable bank fees will be deducted from the refund total.

In general, children will be charged a number of fees the same as adults. In some countries, children below the age of 16 are required to have their own passport, but they are not obliged to hold a visa. Please contact us for further information of each country’s visa requirements.
